#Wamp server access from another computer Pc
How can I make it happen I uploaded my PHP file to a server and now I would like to access it using the other PC (of course LAN).how can I do that I can only access it by just typing 10.194.94.124/home.php from the server itself but I can't access it using other PC. By default, Apache does not allow other computer to connect to the server where Appache is installed. Then, go back into the router, and everywhere you dealt with port 80, change it to 8080. I'm having the same dilemma here but my case is with XAMPP. This is just for testing purposes anyway. You can test it by going into WAMP and changing the port used to. Make sure your internal IP address is static (in the DHCP table). Make sure you properly forwarded port 80.
Have you forwarded port 80 in the router to the internal IP address of that computer? Does your ISP allow inbound access/traffic on port 80? How would you test this? Well, first, make sure your router doesn't have a firewall blocking inbound port 80 traffic.
When you are sitting at a different computer that is NOT on the same IP subnet (not connected to the same router and/or switch) and you put the EXTERNAL IP address in the browser, you don't see the web server. But when I do it the other way around it does not work In other words when I type the ip address of computer B from computer A the browsers says: server at 192.168.0.120 is taking to long to respond. when I type the ip address of computer A from computer B I am able to connect to it.
When you are sitting at a different computer on the same IP subnet (connected to the same router and/or switch) and you put the EXTERNAL IP address in the browser, you don't see the web server. Both computer A and computer B have wamp server installed. When you are sitting at the computer that is running WAMP, and you put the EXTERNAL IP address in the browser, you can view the web server.
